I wouldgo home after clubbing in the early to mid 90s and typically playa mixture of The Orb, Future Sound Of London, Orbital and thenSteve Reich, Philip Glass and Michael Nyman. I was seeing directparallels and in The Orbs case, on ?Little Fluffy Clouds, adirect sample [of Reichs Electric Counterpoint]. I felt it was agenre where I could collate a massive range of influences andmusical signatures. And I always wanted to work with classicalmusicians.
